Abstract:Life cycle energy consumption and emission assessment model for soybean, rapeseed, cornus wilsoniana wanaer(CWW), and jatropha curcaswas(JC) based biodiesel was established in this paper. And, life cycle energy consumption and emission assessment of soybean, rapeseed, CWW, and JC based biodiesel was conducted. Compared with conventional diesel, life cycle total energy consumption of soybean and rapeseed based biodiesel were basically equivalent to conventional diesel, life cycle total energy consumptions of CWW and JC were reduced by about 10%, and the life cycle fossil energy consumptions of all feedstock based biodiesel were remarkably reduced. Moreover, all of the life cycle HC, CO, PM10, SOx, and CO2 emissions except NOx of all feedstock based biodiesel were reduced.
